A cinematic look at Singapore

I took a short trip with the family to Singapore over the weekend. I only brought 1 lens but ended up getting the Sony 16-35mm F4 since it was at a very good price.

This time, I took more handheld panoramas to get used to the process of doing it when my lens isn’t wide enough. With Lightroom, stitching it all together was easy.

Blue hour over Singapore. This is a stitched panorama from 11 handheld shots.

I’ve also tried out a different aspect ratio for the photos for (hopefully) a more cinematic look. These were all cropped in a 2.38:1 ratio.

It was Singapore Youth Festival week at the Esplanade. At the outdoor stage was a free to watch Samba percussion performance. Taken at a very slow shutter speed to blur the movements.

No kiddo, the weekend isn’t long enough…
