In 2010, we made out first trip to Hokkaido, Japan. It was so fun we made another trip in 2017 but that’s for another post.
This one though, was when I was still quite new to photography and extreme cold weather. We were totally unprepared for how cold it was was but it’s such a beautiful place.
At this point in time, I was still gung-ho about bringing my 70-200 f2.8 lens when I travel. It’s such an easy lens to love when it comes to portraits. I ended up keeping the lens on the camera for 90% of the trip.
As I refined my photography skills, I would appreciate wider focal lengths more. But it wasn’t the time yet in 2010.
